Welcome

My name is Troy Zaremba and I am an Assistant Professor of Meteorology at Mississippi State University. My research focuses on understanding how atmospheric dynamics and cloud processes control precipitation, with particular emphasis on winter storms, mesoscale organization, and complex terrain.

My work combines observations, numerical modeling, and field data to improve our understanding and prediction of precipitation. I am currently recruiting motivated undergraduate and graduate students interested in weather, observations, and modeling to join my research group.
